"I would recommend Hill Custom Homes, LLC over and over again!  I have over 17 years of new construction sales experience, so I was very methodical in choosing my builder.  When initially meeting with Clayton, the questions I asked were more detailed than most.  He was able to answer them with the answers I wanted to hear.  If for some reason he couldn't, he said he'd find out the answer and get back to me and he did so in a timely manner.  I left that meeting knowing that he was the builder I was going to go with.  He was very friendly, knowledgeable, genuine and just made you feel like you had known him for years.  Relationship in building is huge to me and he was able to give that.

With custom homes you can have a wide variation of costs.  Hill Custom Homes, LLC was able to stay within my budget and was very honest when what I wanted was not in my budget.  The only price changes that we had were because I picked out things that were more expensive than what I had originally budgeted for.  The fixed prices that were given to me at the beginning never changed.  I was not surprised with additional costs.

The construction process was a dream.  You can bring a plan to them and they will help you make your visions come true.  From the moment I sent my plan over, to when the keys were in my hand, it was a pleasure to work with Clayton.  The construction process went smoothly, with very little hiccups.  Were there minor errors from the contractors, sure, that happens.  Were they addressed and fixed immediately?  Absolutely!  Clayton was available to chat or meet me at the site when I needed him.  Communication throughout the process was seamless.

One of my main requirements when choosing a builder was their emphasis on your warranty.  Clayton has a background in home warranty, which allows him to foresee potential problems during the construction process.  Our warranty items have been small and taken care of quickly.  Clayton's dedication to our home continues, even though we are done building.

"When we decided to build a house, we only interviewed one builder.  Clay's ability to immediately see what we were trying to accomplish made any other interviews unnecessary.  Construction of our house, as we expected, was superb.  His attention to detail is such that we were able to relax and enjoy the process.  I never once felt the need for a site visit to "inspect"-he had that well taken care of and his eye for corrections only comes from someone with his ability and experience.  We made a few changes during construction, and I always appreciated how Clay would take his time to study what we were asking and only then provide his recommendations.  Now, three years later, we are just as happy with our house as we were when it was completed."

"When we began the building process, we were very frustrated.  We had been in contact with at least twelve builders before finding Clayton Hill.  Some of the builders took our plans and never got back with us.  Many builders wanted to charge extra for minor items, such as wooden pantry shelves rather than wire shelving.  Most told us we could not build the house we wanted within our budget.  And none of the builders understood the overall "look" of the house we wanted.

When we met with Clayton, he was the thirteenth builder we contacted.  He was the only builder to come to our house to meet with us.  He met with us for an extensive amount of time, asking questions and making suggestions to ensure he understood exactly what we were hoping to build.  Clayton got back to us right away with a detailed cost breakdown, which enabled us to work within the budget we had. 

Once the building process began, Clayton was at the job site on a consistent basis.  His first-hand knowledge of all of the components that go into building a house gave us peace of mind that our home was being constructed with the highest possible standard.  Clayton's meticulous attention to detail ensured that all aspects of the project, from the foundation to the final landscaping details, were completed in excellent fashion.  He was very easy to work with, and allowed us to make changes as the project progressed.  We never felt locked into specific details, but were able to make adjustments as we saw project come together.

During the entire process, Clayton went out of his way to answer questions, address our concerns, and to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted in our new home.  He often made suggestions, which always improved the project.  He went above and beyond our expectations.  We had an absolutely wonderful time working with Mr. Hill.  He is someone who genuinely cares about his clients and ensures that you are happy.  I cannot recommend anyone more highly than Mr. Hill to build your dream house."
